Inside Out & Integrated Solutions: two new porcelain design trends
5:45-6:45pm CEU Presentation on Sustainable Kitchen Design: Solution for Sinks
InSinkErator®, a division of St. Louis-based Emerson Electric Co., is the world’s largest manufacturer of food waste disposers and instant hot water dispensers. For over 75 years, the company has delivered on the promise of the InSinkErator brand: long lasting innovative products, superior grind and sound performance, trouble-free operation, fast, easy installations and We Come To You® In-Home Warranty long valued by the homeowners NKBA designers serve.
In the company’s CEU program for AIA, ASID and NKBA, “Solutions for Sinks – Sustainable Kitchen Design” designers will learn about the sink appliances that should be considered when designing a “green” kitchen, beginning with the different types of in-home water purification systems and how to select a delivery system that fits client needs. Participants will also learn to consider the household and community waste management processes that impact kitchen design and how food waste, when sent through plumbing to wastewater treatment facilities, can be turned into renewable power and beneficial fertilizer for farmers, landscapers and home gardeners.
The session is one-hour, instructor-led, features video and interactivity, and earns one educational unit. InSinkErator is very pleased to be a CEU Provider Partner for NKBA, ASID and AIA, and is developing additional programs that provide enriching educational opportunities for the design community. For more information about InSinkErator and its products, please visit www.insinkerator.com.
