1.) How did you get started in the industry?
The company my husband and I have was growing and we needed to add an office person to the mix. There were also times that an extra hand at a job was needed, so it seemed like a good time to leave the corporate world and work for our company, Allrounder Remodeling.

2.) What value do women bring to the industry?
Women bring different views, opinions, and décor ideas that not all men can. Some people like having a woman around to help make choices and are more comfortable with women.

3.) What would you say to young girls/women thinking about a career in the industry?
If this industry is what you want to be a part of, then you should go for it.  I’m not one to let a man tell me I can’t do something because I’m a woman.  The world needs to start understanding the value that everyone brings to the table.  We need to educate on the importance of the trades and that without them, we will stifle the economy and not have enough growth in our cities.
