Question: What value to women bring to the construction industry?
"The construction industry is currently in the midst of a major workforce shortage. As the industry looks and waits for answers, women are a critical piece to the puzzle due to them being a largely untapped well and the perspectives they add. They introduce new methods and new approaches that have not yet been explored. Women simply add-to the progress at job sites and expand the creative process from sales to the creative decisions made along the way – including the marketing needs for the company, which attracts more great clients to come their way."
About Women in Construction Week:
The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry. WIC Week also provides an occasion for NAWIC’s thousands of members across the country to raise awareness of the opportunities available for women in the construction industry and to emphasize the growing role of women in the industry.
