2019 Training - Build A Dream Team
Action Coach Minnesota presents
Build A Dream Team
One of the most difficult goals for business owners and leaders is to find, recruit, hire, and retain the right people who will assist them in running and growing the business. How do you hire the right person for the long run? The remodeling industry faces unique challenges in finding individuals with the technical skills to perform quality work, and the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and maintain a relationship with homeowners. Without a talented team, you may work long and hard, but never accomplish much of anything. Considering that the team is a reflection of the business, it is crucial to have a team that is on board with who you are, what you do, and where you're going.
Attendees will be challenged to apply these statistics within their own organization in order to gain a practical understanding of the reality they face, take ownership of the situation, and establish that proactive application of the learnings in this training is imperative to ensure continued success. It is possible to break free from the gloom statistics around employee engagement, but it requires smart, intentional, and consistent commitment to creating the culture you want for your team. We will look at the primary causes of dysfunction within a team and explore strategies for identifying and conquering those dysfunctions. Because teams are made up of fallible, imperfect human beings, the dynamics of any team can be deep and wide. Regardless, when you get every person in your organization rowing together, you can conquer any industry, in any market, against any competition, in any economic situation! Attendees will participate in real-time activities to solidify learnings from the first two sections, before moving on to discussing the six keys to a winning team.
The remodeling industry requires a very specific skillset and personality type in their team members. An in-depth understanding of the various personality types gives leaders a significant advantage in knowing what candidates are looking for, how to communicate with them, where to find them (hint: they probably already have jobs!), and how to recruit and retain them. What about millennials? Yes! The generation that will make up 75% of the workforce by the year 2025… we will cover this as well and how it applies to the remodeling industry in the areas of recruiting, hiring, and retention. Join us as we show you proven systems of recruiting great people, empowering them, and holding them accountable. If you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far, go together.
