Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects. You will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring cost control throughout the construction process. Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop comprehensive project proposals
- Conduct thorough research to gather pricing information on labor, materials, and equipment
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Create detailed project budgets and timelines
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and implement cost control measures as needed
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project requirements are met
- Utilize construction estimating software such as Sage 100 and Sales Force to streamline the estimating process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in construction estimating techniques

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Sage 100 and Sales Force
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Solid understanding of project management principles
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints
- Strong analytical skills to accurately estimate costs and budgets
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders involved in the construction process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
